Several repairs, one quote
A change of tenancy or a property check often turns up a list: a misted bedroom window, a patio door that sticks, a handle that's snapped. Send us a photo of each window or door with the address, and we'll quote for the lot. We're happy to quote for several properties at once.
Here's how it works. We survey and measure. Your new sealed units are made to measure, usually in 5 to 10 working days. Then we come back and fit them, and we'll do the other repairs on the same visit wherever we can.
We can arrange access with your tenant or collect keys from your letting agent.
Repair first, and honest advice
We don't sell or fit new windows or doors. We repair the ones your property already has, which is usually quicker and far less disruptive for your tenants. If a frame is past saving, we'll tell you straight, because we have nothing to gain from it.
Misted glass, condensation and cold rooms in winter
When the heating goes on, tenants start to notice misted windows. It helps to know which kind it is:
-
Mist between the two panes that won't wipe off means the unit's seal has failed. We replace the sealed unit and keep the frame.
-
Condensation on the room side of the glass comes from moisture in the home. Working trickle vents and windows that open properly help, and we repair both.
If a property still has its first double glazing, new units with low-E glass, argon gas and warm-edge spacers keep rooms warmer. The inside pane stays warmer too, so less condensation forms on it. That's our standard specification for every replacement unit.
Safety glass and fire-rated glass
When glass in a door or a low-level panel near the floor is replaced, it normally needs to be safety glass, toughened or laminated. In flats and shared houses, glass in fire doors and fire screens should be replaced with fire-rated glass. We'll tell you what each pane needs when we measure up.

Do you work with letting agents?
Yes. We're happy to work with letting agents and property managers on behalf of landlords.
Can you replace just the misted glass, not the whole window?

Can you repair door and window hinges, handles and locks?
Yes. We repair every part of uPVC, aluminium and timber doors and windows, including hinges, handles, locks, mechanisms and patio door wheels.
Do you fit new windows or doors?

Is there a call-out charge?
No. There's no call-out charge, and all our quotes are free with no obligation.
